Samurai Blue: Afterimage is a 3D computer-animated series inspired by high-octane anime like Redline, Speed Racer, and Akira. In a technologically advanced future, young street racer Yoko Yoshino races to stop a corporate overlord from replacing all drivers with robots. But will she be able to overcome her past failings on the track before it’s too late?
This proof-of-concept short film was developed independently by Winterstellar Studios. We are currently seeking additional funding and production partners to help us bring our full vision for Samurai Blue across the finish line.
